You can now send ecards of any design on this site. In some cases you can also make postcards and greeting cards of them, too. Happy sharing.
Steve Jobs passed away today. His influence was far reaching and will continue for generations to come. The creations he gave all of us allowed me to bring you all the designs I share with you on this blog. Apple products make what I do not just easier, but more enjoyable as I do them.
He’s proof of the fact that if you enjoy what you do, love what you do and persevere with what you do — success will follow.
I’ll miss him. I’m thankful that he leaves the world with many who “think different”.

Well, my book has finally been green-lit for publishing. It’s very exciting to see it in print! I’m so glad I went with full color, it makes all the difference in the world. So yesterday evening, I clicked “publish” and made it available to all of you.
I’ve been given an e-store to sell it through. At some point in the next month, it will also be available on amazon.com, I’ll let you know when that happens. Right now, the advantage of my e-store is that I can offer discount codes for people who buy there. If you would like a to get a 15% off discount code (good only this month) and view a few sample pages, search for “Values. Illustrated Scriptures for Latter-day Saint Young Women.” on Facebook and click on like.
If this venture goes well, more books will follow.
Update: I now have a Facebook fan page. Go to www.facebook.com/ValuesBook
Another Update: It’s on amazon.com now.

So, besides putting my artwork here on my tumblr account, I’ve been working on some for a book. “Values: Illustrated Scriptures for Latter-day Saint Young Women.”
I’m hoping it will be available by September/October 2011. I’ll keep you posted.
In the meantime, you can get a preview and leave comments if you would like. I’d be interested to hear what you have to say.
Note, the preview has been deactivated now. Go to Facebook and search for “Values. Illustrated Scriptures for Latter-day Saint Young Women.”, I’ve started a fan page. Click on like for previews and a discount code.

I saw an article about a new website/opportunity the church has. I’m including a bit of the article here…
The purpose of “Helping in the Vineyard” is to offer members and others the chance to use their time and talents to help the church complete large amounts of work online in a short period of time.
Current projects on the website include translation, FamilySearch, indexing, photography, tagging videos and images, as well as editorial work. For example, someone with foreign language skills might help translate a document for seminary and institute. When approved, the document would be released to seminaries and institutes in the second language.
As the church continues to grow, church departments will increasingly rely on the volunteer work of service missionaries and members. Projects are designed so volunteers can spend as much or as little time as possible.
